Wedding Anniversary

Heavenly Father, 
At the wedding at Cana,  
Jesus turned water to wine, and taught us all 
that a marriage is like a feast that You come to renew. 
On ___’s and ___’s wedding anniversary, 
we thank you that you brought them together  
and that You have sustained them 
through both good times and through hard times. 
Thank you for the ways that their marriage has been  
a source of strength for them and for others. 
Thank you for the many ways You have been at work and 
have led them, comforted them, and challenged them. 
Thank you for all that you still want to do in and through them. 
You are the source of love and of life,  
and on this special day, 
We ask that You pour out grace on them in a new way. 
Help everyone to see in them a sign of Christ and His Church. 
In Jesus’ name we pray,
